scuttle size
I want to start making the scuttle later and wondered if anyone could measure the distance between the top chassis rail (at top of footwell) and the
top of their scuttle
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

29cm give or take a few mm.
Surely with an engine like yours, if you are making your own you should start fromt he hightest point of the engine and work backwards from there?
Bearing in mind the scuttle and bonnet line up, on a slight slope too.

Ah that would explain it. My sump is 4" below the chassis (using big wheels/tyres)
