Making Windscreen
Has anyone on here constructed a windscreen using the instructions in The Book? Does it work exactly as said or are there problems to keep in mind?
Where have you sourced the channel and rubber? Is the Lolocost channel and rubber any good?

got mine through robinhood but did not use the rubber got some black silicone or PU can't remember. Bending the channel is easy if your care
full. Make a ply template and bend the channel round using your hands and perhaps a couple of quick clamps to hold the top edge straight.
Second build. Now refining and changing drive train

Just a suggestion, most people go through SVA/IVA without a windscreen or aeroscreen as it means there is less to test (less to fail on)

If you haven't thought about where you will get the glass try to local glass cutters. I just got a piece of laminate to replace my cracked
Caterham screen. It was £35, which was a pleasant surprise after being quoted £220 at Autoglass.

Defeated me rolling the surround, ali kept rippling so got a Westfield SE frame off Ebay for £15, glass cost another £50 to havecut from a bit of
laminate.
Fits my book width bulkhead but it does taper in slightly.
