Windscreen extrusions?
Sorry about all these questions about windscreens!
A simple one this time - the only place I know about that sells the aluminium extrusions for windscreens is Lolocost/great british sports cars/robin
hood. Unfortunately they're a long way from where I live (150 miles each way) and I don't fancy having them send 1.5 - 2.0 Metres of
bendy aluminium extrusion through the post. They're also not very good at responding to simple email queries, and it's not easy for me to
phone them during the working day.
So - are there any other places that might sell the same sort of extrusions?

I picked up the windscreen surround from GBS at Newark - they are really quite rigid, I wouldn't worry about posting them at all.

Are you really sure about your statement......... mr courier has a knack for flat or bent ali......
The rule of thumb is if its straight when it enters dhl it will be bent when it leaves dhl
same thing for bent stuff come out the other end straight
oh and sheet comes with extra dents free of charge

you could always go the locost way as per the book and use shower rail extrusions.

B&Q do ally channel at about 15mm Internal width Ideal for Locost option.
Scot's do it better in Kilts.
MK INDY's Don't Self Centre Regardless of MK Setting !

Trouble with the B&Q stuff is, I was relying on the slot underneath to hold the rubber seal...

I think I've heard of them!
That's worth a phone call - they're a reasonable driving distance from me (as long as I can find somewhere nearby that my wife would like
to visit!)
Cheers.
