wiper position

My boxes are from an MGB, with the triple wiper set up, but I ditched one of them. I mounted the transmission boxes as per Uncle Ron (symmetrically). Now, I get about half the windscreen wiped. It appears the motor doesn't turn that much. Am I completely screwed on this or is there an adjustment I can do?

Wipers are required where I live.

Thanks again people!!

Have you opened the gearbox? Often you can select a hole further out on the driven wheel that makes the arms then swing further

As above... but originals had different gear wheels with the peg in different positions. Usually had the angle of sweep stamped on the wheel.

The things you learn, I tell you! I will do surgery tonight and report back.

I am so close to getting this ready, but all these little details are taking so much time. Lights all working again, nosecone needs a couple of coats of paint, bonnet catches need holes drilled, and front wings need gluing (and possibly bolting on). I've decided to proceed with an inspection, even when it starts snowing.

I'd have said that was a cruel comment, except you'll get it before us, and you've probably lived through this all your life. I on the other hand, am a soft West Coast person, who does not adapt.
