Which bodywork will fit?
I have a std book size chassis and low line scuttle and nose.
Now, the problem is that I have a zetec that does not fit under the bonnet line, so I currently have a rather unsightly bonnet/nose scoop.
Does anyone have any suggestion of bodywork (scuttle - bonnet - nose) that fit a std book chassis, but is a little taller to fit a zetec?
Thanks
Lars

Send a u2u to TimC or Steve Hignett, get Steve to measure Tim's set (which is for sale).

Unfortunately the set I have for sale is low-line (10" tall scuttle.) You could speak to Procomp (Matt) whos nose and scuttle is designed to
fit a Zetec under. However, Matt uses aluminium bonnets which may or may not be a problem for you.

Higher body work to fit standard chassis when I was looking around was GTS Panther, Luego Velocity and possibly a Tiger variant.
I've seen the Panther and I have the Velocity bodywork. My scuttle overhangs by a couple of mm each side, the nose and bonnet flex to compensate
and the Panther all through was a couple mm too wide but didn't flex.
None of the companies were great to deal with though. Tiger seemed to lose interest when I mentioned a BEC, GTS bodywork apart from the size was
pretty damn good and robust, Luego's was very thin in places and too thick in others meaning that it didn't flex at all and wasn't
square where the heat or whatever had cured it (rear panel). Customer service throughout all 3 was rubbish. So there you go, reviews as well!
ETA Wasa's bodywork looks great though.

Hi
6pc bodywork set £350. The zetec with a 6" sump sitting level with the base of the chassis Ie flat floored will fit under the bodywork as per
our LA Golds. Fiberglass rear panel with slope back as per a caterham is an option but bonnets only as Aluminium as they are far lighter than
fiberglass alternatives and stronger.
Cheers Matt
