New Bodywork...

As some of you know I am building a indy (all be it very slowly) Obviously 7 cars have a terrible drag coeficient...

So has anyone overcome this by fitting a different body, obviously I know the answer is yes, but could I have some examples please? did you make it yourself, buy something and adapt it to fit? or what?

I'm thinking something like this:

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

As all 7s are pretty much of a muchness, does that mean it should be possible (with a bit/lot of fettling) to fit one to any 7 type chassis, I'd love to put one on the Luego

Yes I have them, they're not in bad condition but do need some work.

I love that body style, hence the efforts to find them. eventually purchasing them from Procomp

I'm quite taken by that car as well.

I'm sort of intrested to know what sort of work would be involved to DIY a body from scratch.
