Waterproofing various things

Hi all,
Hope you have had a great bank holiday week end.

Im going to the ring later this month and am alittle worried of the electrics on my car. If a wiring fault happens, fine ill fix it but if water ingresses into a plug or control unit I cant repair that at the side of the road!
I was just wondering if people can recommend a spray type wire and plug sealer that you can just spray liberally over the wiring to protect it. I also have a tonneau coming that I would like to coat in a covering spray to seal it from water. At least the stitched parts anyway.

Thanks for your advice.

Company local to me do a spray called aqua stop I think. The party piece with the salesmen is to spray your mobile phone with it then drop it in a tank of water take it out shake it and it still works.
The company name is Future Developments if you google them you might find a local stockists demo vid here http://aquastop.org/vids/commerical.wmv. /> Cheers,
Bob

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
