Fastening cycle wings
I know this question has been discussed at some length many times,
I need to fix my cycle wings (got the new shape type) - going to stick them on, can someone point me to the exact stuff to use (I tried typing in
'sikaflex' but they have dozens of products).
Grateful for all and any help as always....
Regards, Steve.

Most PU adhesives will be up to the job. We've tried loads but personally, I prefer the 3M stuff.

Not 3M
but this stuff will do

On my Westie I used Tigerseal and it stuck the wings on like a very sticky thing.
On the ST I tried Wurth adhesive, supposedly the same type of stuff and found it lifted off the powder coating after a while! Possibly crap powder
coating, but the Wurth stuff it did not stick to rubbed down bare metal either, so the wings now fixed with stainless M8 dome headed bolts through the
stays.

I know someone who used that new 'cystal' stuff, worked very well (so far) ms technology whatever that means
As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list-- I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed-- who never would be missed!

Just be sure not to paint the contact area on the brackets or the wing will come off with the adhesive and paint attached.
