Ali side panels paint?

What is the best paint for ali sides, I etched them and sprayed them in normal cellulose but the paint keeps chipping off easy? Any ideas what i could paint them in?

Is the colour coat flaking from the primer, or the whole lot off the alloy?

If its the latter its most likely down to preparatiion, the alloy needs abrading, I use a 150 grade disk on the DA and have never had any problems with flaking.

I 150 grade, then a mist coat of etch, full coat of etch, 400 dry flat, another primer, 400 dry flat, then colour.

If you wet flat primer, it can and will retain some moisture, causing pimpling and flaking.
