How tough is Sikaflex?
It's a rhetorical question......... I found out how bloody tough it is when I was trying to fit a new cycle wing support to my Indy
yesterday!!!
Fekk sake!!!!
Endless cutting and scraping, flapper disk-ing and more scraping, and the thing still would not budge!
I think if I'd tried any harder, the cycle wing was at risk of being damaged, so I hatched plan B - cut off what I could, and then weld the new
bracket to the old one.
Painted, covered in new Tigerseal, job done. Lets see if this one lasts more than two minutes.

You need a vibrating knife to cut Sikaflex we use air operated knife at work but i don't see why this would not work
