Windscreen surround and cracked glass....

What a bad evening in the garage... Getting ready for IVA attaching my rear view mirror.... Hair dryer to warm up the screen and it cracked.... Typical... It probably has pushed me into making a new surround so that I can get a match to the scuttle... Any recommendations for either fabricating a new one or supplier of the raw material?

Thanks
Dave B

Leave the screen off for the IVA its less for them to fail it on . You can then have a pice of laminated glass cut for it, the frame should pull appart allowing removal of the glass

Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

I have a GBS Zero screen and surround on my Indy. Good no nonsense kit which arrived exactly when they said it would.

I rang GBS this morning and I think it is too narrow.. I need to do a sketch of what I have an get the dimensions.. They said the widest part was 940mm and i measured 1015 on mine.

snuggs had a screen and surround made for his Viento by Brasscraft IIRC not cheap but a nice job. I will measure my screen if I get a chance tomorrow, not sure if the Luego Locost used the same scuttle as the Velocity, suspect it isn't as high? Geoff( Wilkinj) may have a Viento screen and surround if he didn't let it go when he sold his car?
