AGM WLR body onto MK Indy Chassis

Done a search but nowt found so....

Thinking of the future and thinking of a full body to fit onto my Indy or anyone elses Locosts and wondering if the gorgeous Amg Wlr body would fit.

I know MK make the chassis (although wider in the engine compartment) which i would presume means the Indy wheel base would be correct as would the width etc. I remember someone giving a reason why it would not fit but i can't remember what it was. The only thing that concerns me is the roll bar as it seems to be hidden in the WLR's fiber glass roll bar. Anyone know how it works?

Your thoughts?

Actually MK don't make the chassis for AGM anymore.

The roll bar is one problem, the only other difference is that the top rails of the AGM chassis "kick out" forward of the scuttle to make more room for the cosworth engine.

In fact AGM advertise their body to seven owners as a full body alternative.

And Allan who runs the place is a really top bloke!

Cheers

Andy,

As well as the slightly larger engine bay there's an out-rigger at the front of the chassis to support the nose of the bodywork.

It's just a 25mm box section parallelogram IIRC.

All easy mods to do to your Indy though. And the WLR is a truly beautiful looking car. IMHO!

Cheers,
James
