Attaching spare wheel to rear carrier

Anyone have any clever way as to how the spare wheel could be held in its rear carrier?

Original 7s had a nice strap attached to the top bar at the back that went through a wheel slot. I will be doing this if I ever get around to fitting a spare wheel!

Long wheel bolt through to a plate behind the bodywork that has a wheel nut welded to it.

I assume you already have the carrier ???
