Front Indicators more than 400mm from the WIDEST part of the car (usually measured at rear wings)

Raduis on:
Speakers (rear shelf) and aerial mount.
Bottom of headlamp brackets
Nut covers on Front uprights
Silver trim over the door area right at the back where it finishes.
Suspension adjusting rings need Cover (I used Bike inner tube!) or even Model Car Wheels fit nicely
Nuts on suspension units not covered (top and bottom)

Cover the nut on the top ball joint on the wishbone (the tranny drag link one)

Live terminal on Battery exposed (cheap cover from discount store at less than £2)

Seat belts through the holes in the seat. - remove seatbelts from holes.
ie if the seat (holes) collapse in an accident the belts would become slack and not hold you in the seat.

Wing mirrors too low (I only suspect this). All the SVA marks for testing are in my Archive under "mirrors" Lay a broom pole on the ground, sit in car and see if you can see the marks / pole etc. I failed on this.

Check the angle of visibility on the side indicator repeater, may need to be higher, but check first. (not sure on this one without the SVA manual to hand)

Steering wheel slots and centre nut need covering

Bottom of Dashboard radius and padding?

Sorry for sounding a bit negative. None of it is serious, just all minor points.

Even fixing it, I bet the examiner will find something else... they usually do.
Still they are great guys, and really want you to pass. They might bend the rules, but they will not break them for you.

After all You want to be driving a safe car dont you?

I think the seat belt mounting is 2 low the belt should go though the seat without touching it when you have them on

I can't see any rear reflectors ?

It will fail on the screw sticking out next to the seat belt mounts which yes do need caps, the bracket/bolt edge on the headlamp mount may need covering, if you get a fussy tester (like I did first time) you'll need to cover the centre of the steering wheel or radius the edges of the spokes (yes, really).
Indicators definitely look too far in.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

In the 5 photo if you look at the bottom wish bone about half way along it looks like a weld is it ? or a run in the paint ?

Im not sure if it is the angle of the photo, but this doesn;t look very weel welded. I cant quite figure out what is going on with the steel under the mount, not to mention the amount of weld on the mount itself.

Did you weld the chassis yourself? Are you confident in it? Not trying to be a killjoy, but the if the inspector spots something he doesn;t like the look of, he will cast a very close eye over all of the rest of the welds, which might not be very good.

Hopefully its just the angle of the pic and its all good.

At the end of the day its your bum in the seat if it all goes wrong at 50mph + so it really is best to be sure its right. Rescued attachment sva.jpg
