the viewing figures are funny, 10.2million watched saturdays x factor. Thats 50% of the total people watching telly on saturday night. There has to be
a reason for that. Is it to actually find someone who can sing, or just to laugh at the deluded people making idiots of them selves?
There is a moral issue here I suppose as many of the more 'entertaining' entrants would appear to have mental issues... is it not a bit
like going to the local psychiatric ward and encouraging the patients to do ridiculous things to make us laugh!?
In victorian times they used to do just that. The freak show has also historically been very popular. People don't really change as much as
you might hope.
That was then when there was only a few of the loons about, the place appears to be full of them now. Are they breeding them especially for Simon?
There was still the same amount... they just 'disappeared' and were never seen or heard of again!

my great-aunt-in-law was on mental medication all her life, started with electric shock 'therapy' followed by drugs for 50 years. Then she
came to the attention of her doctor when she was past 70, who realised the drugs were no good, and was right as rain within a few weeks of coming off
them. Then died 6 months later. Spent her whole life doped up due to some doctors bad decision in her youth.
Back on topic, those two were a sorry pair. The gobby one was just too thick to think before she spoke.

I have a friend who worked in psychiatric care and she remembers the last of the women who were lobotomized following childbirth out of wedlock.
The medical geniuses of the day couldn't quite work out why a new mother got depressed and angry when they took her baby away from them... and
so they inflicted hideous brain injuries upon them to make them more 'manageable' patients!
Shameful!

Could someone possibly do the same to the ones we have now; we could always start with Simon, followed by Louis, followed by . . . .
I'm open to suggestions
