I think you've got to take it in the spirit that is intended. It's definitely not a motoring program any more but it IS a comedy program
(albeit quite contrived sometimes) which is unique and controversial. It's getting more like a sit-com some weeks with Hampster's white
teeth, Captain Slow's geekyness and of course Clarkson's arrogant sweeping statements.
One thing we must remember - IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE A SERIOUS PROGRAM - there are other motoring programs that fill that role ..... sort of
so to all the pople that don't 'get' TG.....Image deleted by owner

Maybe, just maybe, there IS a serious point to this program.
Possibly, amongst all the jokes and banter, the point will be that using all that fuel
in giant tractors to grow oil seed rape to make into fuel is a pointless exercise.
Of coarse, the government will massage the figures, subsidies are paid to farmers,
and we are brainwashed by the greens into thinking it's all a good idea. IMHO.
Time will tell.

I also don't watch it, it's childish rubbish but does appeal to blokish humour. Bring back William Woollard I say!
