seat belt mount threaded bar/tube.

Wheres the best place to get thread bar from for seat belt mountings to weld into a roll bar?

You'll need to be able to prove it's high tensile to 8.8 grade for SVA.
Any bolt/fastener supplier will have it (and a spec sheet)
Band Q do it (but no spec Sheet I doubt)





If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I meant Internal threaded bar. probably should have said tube.

I have been searching as well. I ended my search at McGill on Ebay. They only have threaded bushes, which are too short.

I think a friend with a lathe might come in handy...

Do it yourself mate, the drill size for a 7/16 UNF thread is 9.9mm. So buy some tube 15mm OD with a 3mm wall thickness, then drill it to 10mm ID and tap the thread...job done
