Windscreen Wiper Bits??
3 years has flown by and unfortunately the first MOT is looming.
All I think I need to add is windscreen wipers and I have a motor, bits of pipe and a drive cable but no wiper assemblies. I swear I put them
somewhere safe but can't find them anywhere.
Does any one know where I could get either just the assemblies or everything except the motor.
SVC sell the complete kit Like This - Clicky but I only need the assemblies.
Or maybe someone can say what car has this type of system and then I could go hunt down the scrappy.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

You can get the rocker boxes pretty cheap off the bay......
Only thing to watch out is that some have longer "noses" than others. The mini noses are quite short so you have to use quite an angle.
Rocker boxes with longer noses you can place nearer the horizontal which (given the upright nature of a Seven screen) is a good thing....

They are MGB components, maybe other brit cars of the 60's 70's - Mini, Landy's, Austin 1100 etc. I am sure because I just re-built
mine.

Smashing!!!
Thanks guys. I did try ebay but was obviously not looking for the right thing.
Now I know I'll get bidding.
Didn't want to take the screen off as it's a bit of a job.
When I drove to Donnington last October I had to stop every 2 miles to wipe the mist off so I could see so I do need wipers.
Took us about 2 hours to get there from Crewe the last 2 miles being in brilliant sunshire.

You will have 6 bolts to undo if you remover the windscreen. That has to be easier than putting wipers on and getting them to work properly.
