Rear Panel mistake

Thought I'd add this mistake I've done to prevent anyone else from doing it (Not that anyone else is a dumb of course )
I got a piece of ali cut 70" by 20" thinking that is more than enough for the rear panel.
Bahhhh then when I bent it around the corners..... the top slants down naturally due to the standard chassis resulting in it not being able to wrap around the top tubes at the area near to the shocks.
So, take heed... 70" by 24" would be ideal. ahh well what can i make outa spare ali )

The bonnet is similar, due to the slope between the scuttle and the nose.

Take this as advance warning!

Just behave yourself, rivet!

I meant, the bonnet ain't a rectangle, just like the rear panel.

I didn't say anything about the ali for the scuttle - that was someone else's conversation.

PAY ATTENTION AT THE BACK!

David

P.S. You only have to tell me once, you know...

Err, just make templates out of cardboard first. They dont have to be exact, but will give you an idea of size/shape required.

One of Ron Champion's better ideas.....

Dont just build it.....make it!
