Racing Stripes Yes Or No

Evening All

I have a black dax rush with black and cream interior and i'm toying with the idea of having racing stripes fitted.

Should i do it?, if so what colour stripes would you go for?

Cheers

Matt

Yup. Loving the racing stipes. Saw a very tasty Triumph TR4 with some in a classics magazine. Very nice too

Gunmetal grey, if you have to.

If I had an all-black seven though, it'd have to be this livery:

Second only to Gulf-on-powder-blue in my "modern classics" list.

I've gone right off stripes now their sold as standard on shopping trolleys like Ford Focus’s.

In the old days it was a way to stand out with your smart motor like an Allegro or Bluebird but now their stuck on cheap tacky crap, its all gone right down hill like stripes on some greasy chav’s tracksuit trousers.

Matt,

I'd go with stripes.

A lot of good ideas ^^^ black and white is a really big contrast, but black and silver may be easier on the eye.
Whippy has a good point about the tracksuit don'y know where you would but the fag burns though

Definitely. But personally, I would go for different widths and offset rather than straight down the middle. Just my preference

do it do it do it do it.........

been a bit of a rush job really, bodged it all together in just 5 1/2 years.

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.
