Modifying Bonnet
Looking for some advice about modifying my bonnet. I have one of the old Luego kits and the panels basically fit where they touch. The Front edge has
a small piece of damage which will need repairing anyway. I would like to extend the leading edge of the bonnet then sand down to get a good shut
line. The air intake on the front edge also needs adjusting because it is a little distorted. What would be the best way to make a permanent repair?
Final thing will be to paint the bonnet. The colour is black so will show up everything.
thanks

If i was doing it i would grip a piece of thin alloy about 75mm wide around the front of the bonnet sticking out say 25mm at the front .
Then use fiber glass resin and matting to build the front up, add some black paint in the resin it helps build up the colour [ only a small amount of
paint
ps put the alloy on the outside of the bonnet
