Hiding Glassfibre Texture

As so much of my bodywork is the reverse of the Glassfibre lay up.

I was wondering what people had used to disguise it.

Was thinking a layer of seam sealer, painted body colour.

Want to rip off the headliner and the carpets have already gone.

I had a similar dilemma. I painted the rough side with coloured Gelcoat. Most of it was smooth enough but the bits that wern't, sanded and polished OK.

Fibreglass surface tissue will finish it off nicely but rub it down with gritty paper first so it will key to the surface. Doing the roof will be interesting unless you can turn the car on it's side......

My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

Same will Gel Coat, is the wax "layer" a chemical reaction or Gravity.

If upside down ,will the wax come to the "bottom" to seal it or does it float up ?
