where to find a bonnet bulge for this

i need to find a bonnet bulge for this,or do you think it will be easyer to fit a new bonnet

Why not make one?



Foam core... cut/sanded to shape... then lay fibreglass over the top...

Pop out the foam... fill the surface, sand and paint..

you can buy all the stuff from halfords too, but its not the best quality, and its relatively expensive. but you 'can'

If it only sticks out a bit, why not try doing what I saw on a magazine featured hot rod once, that i though looked really good

Form a "blister" with a flange out of fine stainless steel mesh, and rivit the flange in to the back of the bonnet with the rivet heads showing through a trim ring.

that expanding foam in a can is ok with grp but the two part stuff is even more fun to play with when you get the gist of how to mix it right...proper laugh then
