silicone hose
The rubber seal on my bike crabs has split , has anyone used silicone hose to fasten them on and will normal hose do or dose it have to be for fuel
also where can I get 48 mm internal diameter hose any help thanks

thats what i have on my carbs been on about 3 years i had to super glue them to the carbs though

yep you can get 48mm or look for 1 7/8"
If you get hose joiners you can cut them in half.

Hi Jacko was the problem letting air in or was the pipe coming off, I have a set of Blackbird carbs and there's about 10 or 12 mm to fasten to
is that enough with a jubilee clip

They use to come off so i glued them on + jubilee clips then made a bracket to support the carbs

people say they degrade with petrol, but as said above people have used them for years without trouble
