Have catches. Sorry, misplaced my Uncle Ron booke.

Are these generally rivetted or bolted on?

Uncle Ron book ain't going into that much detail anyway

Mostly rivetted on (quick, easy and simple). Personally I used Dzuz cos they're flush fitting....

not sure if the rules are the same over there, but do you have the SVA ok type catches?

Just rivet it shut after you put some oil in.

I am tempted by that one. I am getting close, and now only have to mount some things like lights, and do some bodywork on the nosecone, clean up the bonnet holes, install the windshield (frame all ok and painted now) and go for a spin (private road of course). Even the wipers work for crying out loud.

RE. the type of catch: no SVA, and the old chrome type are OK.
