Polishing

I have finally got the whole car painted but some of the panels have got an orange peel finish. I have cut back with 1200 wet to get a smoooooth finish but thought is there a polish i can use to put a deep shine or will i put another coat of paint on. It has 5 coats already.

Just had a look on KEEN These guys are keener than a guy who came in 1st at being the keenest guy in the world competition.

you will make hard work polishing out 1200 lol.
your best to go over with 2000 and then use g3 cutting compound. or megs speed glaze, or 3m fine cut.

Yep, they are keen, I'm also a member on there and you will get plenty of helpful tips. You need to go over with finer grade wet and dry, i have 2500 and 3000 Meguiars stuff. Polishing will then be straightforward with any number of fine cut polishes that you can find on there.
