Perspex aeroscreen
I want to have a perspex half screen to avoid the need for wipers/washers for IVA. What sort of height is acceptable before they start to think of it
as a windscreen?
Also how hard is it to bend perspex and where can i get some locost?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Wouldnt that depend on the drivers height i.e if i am 5'9 and the IVA man is 4'?

... and don't use Perspex as it's too brittle. Use polycarbonate e.g. Lexan.
Depending on the size you need, you may be able to get an offcut free or cheap from your local glazing shop.
btw, if the only reason you are considering an aeroscreen is to avoid hassle with IVA, then go to IVA with no screen and fit your choice of full
screen or aeroscreen afterwards

I recently bought a bike that the old guy had made his own screen - he did it my cutting it to shape and then using a bar as a former, pouring boiling
water over it from the kettle and bending it.
Worked very well - you;d just need to find a suitable radius to bend it over (ooo err!) not sure what your after exactly - maybe a paint tin will be
big enough?
Anyway - I have no idea if its safe, I just know it is possible, and that is how to do it.

its not as simple as if you look through it..
ther are measurements in the iva manual.
height of the seat angle of the back of the seat... then draw a line -4 degrees or something like that..
