Forgive me but it sounds like you need an MK kit?!?!? Would be easier quicker and probably cheaper to buy a kit from MK and flog the chassis you
have.
Is it an MK chassis? Didn't think they sold them on their own?

Do you know if the chassis was designed to take a specific engine?
MK usually fit engine mounts in the chassis to fit the engine of your choice.
Perhaps post some pictures of the chassis , this way we can help to advice on the best parts to complete the job.

Hi Colnago_Man,
Thanks for your advise, i didnt realise that! Yes it was intended to have an R1 engine in it.
I will take some photos tonight and upload them.
The wishbones are fitted, along with brakes lines, steering rack and a fuel tank but I can't get on with the build until i get some parts.
Cheers

I have front sierra hubs, cal's if they're any use to you, also have a diff push in shaft type, and a set of rear calipers
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

I've got a central rear view mirror (you didn't mention it but you will need one) - see
here. I have also got a standard Halfords type square rear fog light.
Also, off the top of my head, you will need:
- radiator and hoses
- seat belts/harnesses
- dash switches

I have 1 unused wide black Triton seat in black and black bonnet from an MK Indy with a cut out for an MK pinto exhaust.
The bonnet is in fair condition with a few scratches but I belive nothing that a polish wouldn't sort out.

Here's the list I made at the satrt of mine. I think it icludes mst things except tooling. Obviously if you buy an engine/gearbox/clutch package
as 1 unit with all the ancillaries, you don't need a lot of the bits. Also you may or may not choose to replace bits or service the engine,
tuning bits etc all add up. Some of the things on the list can obviously be broken down to individual components.
Don't forget to look in the 'for sale' section on this forum, I'm sure you will get quite a lot of bits cheap on there.
Best of luck
Hugh

Remember - you dont need everything at once - Get a few bits, refurbish/paint them while looking for the next batch of bits. Remember you need to get
the uprights that match your wishbones to get the right geometry.

yes, as long as wishbones are for sierra uprights
btw - I've also got a few odd's and ends of sierra/granada bits left over:
push-in driveshafts, calipers, front hubs......

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
