Wide Westy Nose and Ali Bonnet?
Morning All
Has anyone used a wide Westfield nosecone along with an aluminium bonnet?
Could you post some pics please if you have?
Many thanks

Bear in mind that there are different styles of Westfield (wide) bodywork.
Style they sell at moment, the nose/bonnet each have a return edge to them to make them more rigid.
Whereas the older style (kit bodywork) the bonnet does not have a front return to it, and the nose is just jogged (to thickness of fiberglass bonnet).
Would guess this would be easier for you to fit a alloy bonnet to.

Have you Joined the wscc? I’m sure a couple of people have done them. Another person to talk to is Andy at Siltech http://www.siltechracing.com/
he's making a 7 to fit under Westfield bodywork, he said something about an aluminium bonnet.
Sold the B10 yet?

Is this the sort of thing you are after?

I had to modify the front of the chassis with a nosecone shaped frame to hold the ally. The nosecone now slides over the ally to make a tight
fit
