Projector Headlamps - when abroard ?
If you have projector headlamps, like the ones below, what do you do when driving on the right when abroard?
With tin-top ones fitted behing a cover, you can fit could fit a deflector or masks in the normal way, but there is nowhere to put anything on
these.
I'm guessing you could angle them down a bit, rotate them a bit, ignore it and just dazzle everybody, or not drive at night
( p.s. not got a Vstorm, or projector headlights - just curious )

theres usually some sort of adjustment in them, something at the back you can rotate to change the beam. do you know who makes yours? or did you buy
them and get any papers with them?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

the units used on the V-Storm are a hella unit from svc and don't have a built in adjustment in the actual projector unit but the V-Storm does
have adjustment in the mounting brackets to let it be used abroad

I have projector lights in my Polo... The general consensus when I travelled through europe was that fitting any form of deflector was a bad idea
because it just defracts the light all over the place.... so not good..
I was advised to leave them "as is" (the more modern Vws actually allow switching sides via the computer management sytem..)
On a different note..
Brit drivers dont want to break the law in europe, so fit deflectors... and then on their return they leave them on their cars, thus breaking UK law
which doesnt seem to bother them... I dont get it...

Would the last person who leaves the country please switch off the lights and close the door!

Just do what I d when driving on the continent... drive everywhere in reverse!
Therefore, not only is the lighting not a problem, but you've also just converted your car to LHD without spending a penny!
Simples...

Just the two...
I quite like those lights on the V-Strom... I'm guessing the housing is a custom jobbie?

my tintop has got little levers on each headlight. you move them over and you are good to go.
you need to find some kind of solution. may be worth speaking to hella and see what they say. i do a lot of driving in europe and you can spot the
english cars miles away as they come towards you.

...or. do like 99.99% of foreign drivers who come to the UK and don't bother fitting deflectors.

I've been told that Russ from Furore supplied the very similar (same?) ones on the RTR atomic.
I would quite like some, but may look out of place on my Westie.

Paging Russ from Furore...
Do you sell these? The headlights on my Striker are crappy sealed beam units, and could do with being replaced...
