Bubble screen, half screen mod. good idea?

Hi all,
Im getting my Raw striker in a couple of months hopefully and Im now just starting to lay plans down to sort the little issues I have with it (Thanks to Bumbleuk for sorting most of them!!).

The car has a cut down half front screen which does look good but functionally not quite there. Also I want to get a cover made for it ( tonneau and full) but I have concerns becasue the rear view mirror is higher than the screen. I have two issues with this. One, the cover will look crap with a mirror shaped extra bit of cover in the middle. Two, as the car is left outside the cover may rip as it flaps in the wind against the rear view mirror.

So,
Due to the lack of wind protection and the cover concerns I thought that I can remove the current one and get a new bit made up. It will have two 'humps' that will be flat but offer more protection. THey will also shield the cover from the sharper edges of the mirror. I have attached a crude MS paint edit to show what I mean. Ultimatly I may go closer to the mirror but I deffinatly want a flat spot at each end becasue it will look better.

Honest thoughts and suggestions please.

Can't go too far wrong with a striker - I wish I'd gone for one in the first place.

Only observation is that thing in the engine bay - it looks a bit heavy and boat anchor-like...

Its a bit like an optional extra, like reverse on a bec

I was really hoping for more of a response than this!!

Less about my accident more about the window screen!!

Ok...my tonneau fastens to studs ON the scuttle. i.e. behind the screen/mirror.

This way the mirror is not in the way and the shape of the screen does not matter.

Hope this helps?

See the studs at the base of the mirror and to the right of the wheel. I have to remove the half doors and then the tonneau follows the lines of the doors.
