Tunnel Design
What views do you guys have on making the tunnel cover as a single piece. i.e. like a centre console in a regular tin-top?
I am thinking of making it as one and attaching it at the base so the top stays nice and clean (and IVA friendly)

Dont see why not... Depends if you want it to go under the dash as all one piece or not...
One piece tricky but not impossible, two piece should be fairly easy.
Structuring at the side of the seats could be tricky ( well unstructuring anyway)

I really like te idea I have seen some that look like they were done like that i think there was an MNR one.
My preferance is a nice 1 piece carbon one not to everybodys taste but the look I want.

I made mine from Carbon look ABS in three pieces top (one piece) and the two sides. I'm struggling to get an edging trim finish I like with
rounded 2.5mm corners that doesn't look agricultural.
Also when I was checking from "sharp edges I found my handbrake and gear lever trim pieces were non compliant so I need to reconsider the whole
tunnel finish. I did see the MNR rounded unit (I think it was MNR) and that looks ok but not sure it would fit an Indy?

The only way is to try.
SO what if you make a mess of it at least you can learn from what you did wrong and then make it better.
From what I have read and seen on the web it's all about prep work on the mould, once you have a good mould you can make more than 1 so a few
cock up's won't be the end of the world.
You never know you might just be good at it and be able to produce them to sell a few and make a few quid doing so.
I say try it.

The MNR centre tunnel is a 1 piece design that drops over the steelwork underneath
