Weather gear etc

I know Soft Bits for Sevens do weather gear and storage etc but it looks like its all for Caterhams. ETA - looks like they do bespoke too

Who else have people used for fitted hood/tonneaus?

I also saw a few people with fitted boot bags which fit on top of the boot area which looked like a great idea. Any idea where they come from?

I am thinking of getting something made for the GTS, a proper fitted toneau just to cover the cockpit area for when it stands outside. Its got to beat a tarp or full car cover!

Infact I was considering a screen and hood, but then I dont want to fit a screen or wipers!

loads of people have used Soft Bits for Sevens for all that
but you might need to take the car to them to have it fitted

Jill does all sevens and westy`s
As they are all pretty standard she can mass produce bits for them.
She needs the other cars as they are all differant so you would have to take you car to her.

Better to find a sail loft locally to you as they can do hoods as well.
Its not cheap as the labour is expensive as well as the materials. 22 quid a mtr for hooding.

His boot cover is great.

this is the boot bag i have got. half the price of soft bits for 7's and fully waterproof unlike the soft bits for sevens one.

It took every gallon of rain the weekend threw at it and my clothes were still completely dry at the end.

also stayed perfectly attached on a serious 40mile hoon through the lanes up round stoneleigh

Softbitsforsevens have patterns for most kits. My lightweight cover fits my windscreened STM perfectly

but if they're going to put on the securing poppers they'ld need the car to make sure it's nice and tight

Yep thumbs up for Jill & Nick at Soft bits for Sevens from me. They made both the tonneau and hood for my Fury.

They had an MK in there while mine was being done. Give them a call they may well have the template.

Cheers

Jim
