Sierra Locost Handbrake Cable XR4X4

Handbrake Cable ... Too long might have to cut one end ... Any ideas ... Also looks like will have to weld the lug on what I cut off ... Or anyone got any ideas or pictures of the handbrake fully connected ... Thanks ... Mike ...

Leave the lugs on and cut the other end, shorten the outer cover then rejoin the cable using a proprietry joint something like

Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Yes they will, or should.

If done up properly the cable will snap before the clamp lets go! (in my experience)
