GRP Bodywork

Can someone please advise me of a company that can sell me standard 'book' Locost bodywork from stock (i.e. within the next couple of weeks)? I am starting to really need the nosecone and rear wings to allow me to finalise some of the panelling, radiator, scuttle etc.

I have been making enquiries and it seems that some of the companies regularly praised on this site just are not interested. Has anyone else found this problem, or is it just me?

I take it you have tried luego and GTS, not sure from recent developments if Triton still doing bits. As u have discovered a lot of what u need is not "next day", which is BTW why I intend to do my own, just trying to clear my feet of larger projects first. A lot of the suppliers of the Grp parts source from specialist composite manufacturer's, and I know from experience the turnaround times vary a lot depending where they come from.
Cheers
Shug.

Thanks for the offer Rusty, i think i would prefer to keep to the standard sized bodywork as far as possible though.

I have tried Darren at GTS several times, spoken to him on the phone, left messages and sent emails but i am still waiting for him to get back to me with the info. Obviously he is a busy man, which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your viewpoint. I'll keep trying him though.

I was just wondering what other alternatives there are?

Shug, i have sent you a U2U.

Cheers

Hi Albertz,

Its been a stressful time recently, and bodywork is not a good topic of conversation, because its such a popular seller that my sub contractors are always flat out trying to keep up. We want to build stock, but, thats hard because of colours and simply getting a lull in activities to do it.

I have a full set of bodywork at home now for reference so any dimensions you want i can get for you in a few minutes. GTS is now a full time thing, so you should find me easier to contact.

Kind regards,

Darren
