Modified seat for harness.

Hi, happy New year to all. I was just contemplating modifying the seats on my seven to fit 5 point seat belts.
The existing seats are of westfield origin,and do not have the required slot in seat base. Any reasons for not
making a hole in base and fitting an alloy bezel for harness to go through.?? Would like some tillet seats when
funds will allow.
