Which bonnet fasteners
I can t decide which is the best way of securing a bonnet safely and of course iva friendly !I like the dzus fasteners but can t decide if they would
be best or not . Just need to know what everybody else is using and if they are happy ?My bonnet is fibreglass if that makes any difference .

I,m using Dzus fasteners, just a personal preference but I think they look less obvious & are more flush fitting .

I'm using the old boot hook style, with the springs. I think for your IVA, you would need to cover in rubber (an old bike inner tube would work,
wouldn't it?). This is cheaper than the rubber ones, and I think a lot more secure.
Search for "boot hooks" on ebay.

I fitted the IVA freindly rubber fastners but did not think they were very substantial with an alloy bonnet.
So i fitted 4 extra Dzus fastners as well. Nice and secure now.

Dzus on mine, PITA to fit (they still need some more adjustment at the moment), but worth the effort IMHO as they look correct and go flush. Rubber
over catches are fine, but I would also want something positive as to many have lost bonnets due to the SVA friendly rubber catches.

Aero catches are the nicest ones in my opinion...
They are rather dear though!
