removing car wax
hi all
any body now any quick easy ways to remove wax from your bodywork without damaging the paint underneath
reason i ask is i have a good coat of wax on my car and need to remove some from the nose cone so i can put on a stick on number plate

wipe it with white sprit then buff totally dry before applying sticker
use just boiled water from a kettle to remove the sticker later and wipe glue traces away with white spirt

I have always stuck numberplates onto the waxed paintwork - they haven't fallen off yet
