Engine number

Right the fury is sold (well deposit taken) to a man in Italy. I've had to wait 4 weeks to get the v5 back before I can let him have the car as I've retained a personal reg from it.

Sent him a scan of the v5 and ..

Hi Ryan,

Please, can you check the engine number? Usually the 5pw is N507E but on the V5 there isn’t the N.

Sure enough, v5 there's no N, check the motor and the N is there. After waiting for four weeks and it now looks like I may have to send it off again I'm absolutely bleeping fuming. The rest of the number is correct but it could cause a nightmare for him if the codes are wrong when he registers it.

Should it be there or not!? I'm sick to death of the DVLA's incompetence. They've already cocked up with re printing and sending back my MOT certificate with the original reg on and now this.
