Rover v8 manifolds headers
I've got a rover v8 powered WLR and need headers/manifolds for it.
I've bought some hedman headers but they are far to long and hit the floor (WLR has a belly pan under the engine) and still need to go approx 6
inches lower to Line up with the ports.
Then the collector faces the bulkhead so the rest of the exhaust would Want to go through the driver so it will also need rotating outwards.
Does anybody know what exhaust manifold and system is used on a locost v8?
I was looking at westfield manifolds but they are a little expensive if they don't fit.
I don't really Want to chop the hedmans up if there is a manifold out there that fits a treat.
Any ideas peeps?
I'm also after a prop for the LT77 to Sierra diff.
Thanks in advance
Dave

I'm using modified SD1 manifolds.
Autoprop in East Grinstead made my prop but their website seems down so don't know if they are still going.
Welcome btw.

The range rover ones look like the downpipe knukle my get in the way On the drivers side, steering shaft to rack.
But messurments would be fantastic if possible.
Anybody got any pictures of their setup so I can get some ideas please?

I have them in the F27. I'll take a couple of snaps later today of them.
They do come tight to the steering column... in fact, I think one of the pipes has been given a slight 'knock' to give it the necesary
clearance!

I don't mind a bit of tweaking at all but the way my hedman lines up it needs a tunnel boring through the middle of all 4 pipes to clear the
colum LOL

Cheers for the pics
Um they look a lot better for space than I thought they would.
What was modded on them do you know?

No mod as such... just a wee tap with a hammer to one of the primaries to create space for the steering-column. Probably an indentation of 1-2mm.

Hi Dave, good to see another WLR on here. Have you just started your build? Part built?
Would love to see some pictures
All the best
