Hayabusa dry sump plumbing

Just plumbing up my dry sump on the hayabusa ,
I have an oil cooler fitted to the car but the fitting are 1/2 bsp and I was using 1/2 hose to feed this
Now the question is the oil cooler. Has to be fitted to the return line to the dry sump tank, but the return from the dry sump in -10 or 5/8 so ideally you should use 5/8 /-10 hose and fittings. But that means I need to change my oil cooler to 5/8 fitting instead of the 1/2 one I have
Could I just change the return fitting on the sump and keep the return line all 1/2 ? Would this restrict the flow ?
Or should I just but the bullet but a new cooler and fittings and keep the return line the same as the feed line ie: 5/8
I hope ye can understand what I mean
