Le'Mans inspired Bodywork
Hi all,
forgive me if this isn't the right place to post this.
Several years ago, I built a Locost rolling chassis and then decided to go about making a full-width le'mans style bodywork in fibreglass. I
finished the moulds and a set of bodywork, but unfortunately never paired the chassis with the body and it's been sat in storage.
Sadly, I no longer have the time or space for this project and have listed it on eBay...

I'd be interested in your feedback, and whether anyone else has done anything similar successfully. I know of AGM sports cars which is similar,
but personally think mine is a little prettier..

Oooh, like that.
Very well balanced for a front engined car.

If only I was in a position to buy that off you... I will have to watch it though, just to see what you get for it. I hope it's a good four
figure sum!!

I actually built it on my parents drive way when I was 16/17. I'm 27 now and unfortunately have never been in the position to make a business
out of it. I built it intending to go into production. I then worked for Bentley for a while, then Radical (they charge £60k for a fibreglass car on a
space frame chassis)... I then ran my own business for the last few years, but not making cars.
One day, I'll build another one.

Not sure what to expect. Four figures would be definate, five figures would be dreaming a little.

Unfortunately I haven't got the time or space to do it myself. I'm sure everyone can appreciate how hard it is to come to that
decision!
Hopefully the new owner will be in the right place to make a few for those who want one. There's 140 people watching on eBay within 30 hours, so
I'm guessing there'd be a good market for them at the right price.
I've posted some more photos on the auction page that show the original patterns and the moulds being prep'd. Also a shot with some wheels
under it!!
