Wiper arms.

Afternoon all. Im after a bit of advice on what wiper arms i need. The wiper motor is a Sierra unit. All fitted and working. What arms do i need. The motor parks the wrong way for the angle of sierra arms.Just wondered what others have done regarding arms and blades.Cheers Steve.

I used MG Midget arms and blades They park in front of the driver.

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Thats the trouble im having. The Sierra ones are bolted on with a 13mm nut which goes through the arm,and i think the Mini/MG ones are push on. And i need them to park in the passenger position. Cheers Steve

I did the same ,(silly), thing, and used the modified wiper motor from the Sierra. The only way I could get any arms to fit was to buy some sierra arms, alter them for length, (real pain), and rebend the arms to lay correct way on the screen. Then locate some ten inch blades from Ebay. Should have spent the extra and fitted mini ones. HTH Ray

To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

Might be worth putting the end of the wiper arm in a vice and gently bending to the required angle?
