For Sale - Mx5 weekend/track car

For sale

1996 1.8 uk spec mx5



bit tatty but solid little car - been using it as my run around and track toy

fitted with coilovers (now sittinbg slightly higer than the pics)

has seriously embaressed some very expensive cars!

recently had new pads and recon callipers all round

this is an ideal cheap car for getting intop trackdays/top down fun

Mot due Aug 2013

Tax due Feb 2013


Currently sitting on 15x8 compomotive mini lights with yokohama tyres (slight stretch look), also have some black fox 5 spokes with toyo 888's

£950ono on the Compomotives/Yokos
£850ono on the Fox's/888's
£1100 with both sets of wheels

Will consider swap for a cheap hatch back/runaround

Hi Mike

Basically anything to make it go faster, corner harder and brake quicker - all safely.

What sort of parts have you got and could you give some indication of price please.

Stiff suspension and sticky tyres are all you readlly need. Standard brakes are plenty.

If it doesnt sell I may look to return to standard and then sell the bits (rather not as its too cold to start swapping out suspension)

You can always take the whole car and ill throw in the standard suspension so you can swap it back yourself
