covering a soft top ?

What do those of you with soft tops do to prevent the hood getting caught by the wind when it's folded down and the car is being driven ?

Ive recently fitted a set of GBS Zero weather gear to my Indy which works well but Ive soon found it's not always practical to take the hood right off the car on the rare days it actually stops raining- mainly because it soon starts raining again.

The frame hoops fold down fine past the roll bar and lie fairly flat on the boot but theres nothing to secure the front part of the roof vinyl as the roof only attaches to the rear hoop. This means the wind catches it all too easilly and next thing it's billowing right out behind the car and then covering the rear panel, lights and number plate when the car slows down.

Would a couple of straps do the job or would it need some sort of removeable tonneau to cover the folded hood and boot area ?

All the soft tops I have owned have had 2 or 3 straps that hold the folded top down, imagine brolly straps.

You can just about make them out HERE
