Sidelight options
I have fitted some projector headlights and hadn't thought about side lights! I can't fit anything inside the light so that leaves me with
a few options
1, a small light next to the headlight(any suggestions?)
2, change the indicator lights to clear ones and put a light in them?
3, put some side repeaters on the front cycle wings?
What have you done or tried? Any other suggestions.

I'd probably go with option 1. Put some small sidelights on the headlight mounting bracket; You should be able to find some LED lights
that'd look neat. Just have a look through SVC and CBS catalogs or have a mooch around Halfords or local motor factors.

i've got these to use as indicators and sidelights on the front.
ok, as indicators they are very small... but they are very bright, and in the manual there's no mention of minimum sizes. get one, try it and
see what you think

thats what i was thinking, could either wire them in as sidelights, on a switch, or wire them into the ignition as daytime running lights, which is
probably what i'll do
i using them as front indicators, side repeaters, and 1 white one as a reversing light

Thanks Blake just ordered some. Do sidelights need to be switchable or can they be on with ignition on and still pass an MOT?

A very good question...
Not 100% sure tbh. I guess if they're switched, as sidelights, then the tail lights need to come on
If they come on with ignition, as DRL, then only they need to come on, without tail lights?

I will just wire them into the sidelight circuit anyway. Easier than messing about with more wiring!
