IVA Wing Mirrors
Need some new wing-mirrors to pass my IVA>
Looking at these:

Cheap, and I know people have passed OK with them. My only query is that I thought the wing-mirrors had to fold in to pass the IVA< but these look
like they have a single mounting point?

I think as long as the mirror head folds and the arm passes radii, they are fine

I'm pretty sure they only have to fold if they extend outside the body

As above, passed with them at Gillingham, left them on the car as they don't look too bad either as well as being a good price.
Girl walks into a bar and asks for a double entendre, so the barman gave her one

Mirrors only need to fold if the extend beyond the line of the body. I used these and they extend an inch or so outside the body line, which was never
checked.
They are a single bolt fastening and even as tight as you make them, if you walk into them "firmly", they do "fold" back.
They don't vibrate if mounted securely and the image is rock solid on the move, even at motorway plus speeds.
My experience at IVA was that the examiner could see as much as he thought was reasonable and never thoroughly checked and of the other details.
