racing a seven-type car with or without front wings?
in terms of aerodynamic what is better:
1. the standard front wings (not modern areodynamic ones) fixed with the usual locost brackets where the wings may start to vibrate with higher
speed
2. no front wings at all, maybe also the headlights removed
from the legal point of view i can drive the car on the track without wings
i would prefer no.2 : less weight, less hazzle with vibrating wings

You need the wheels covered to do track days .and to drive on the road if you can take the headlights off when you get to a trackday it will help with
aero.

On the way to Cadwell the other day one of my front wings came partially off, so I removed it and went out on track. After a few laps they told me I
couldn't go out without it because it was "like an open wheeled car". I tied it on with cable ties (it was a pretty dodgy effort)
and they seemed to think that was safer than not having it and let me back out...
So yes, you probably do need them.

i think you got me wrong:
i do not need to cover my wheels for the races i participate, and i always trailer my car as it isnt road registered.
