AMB Transponders
Looking to enter the locost series, which transponder should i get?
This one: http://www.hssports.co.uk/products/mylaps-260-personal-transponder-pack.html
Or this one: http://www.hssports.co.uk/products/mylaps-260-direct-power-transponder.html
Also what about second hand ones what happens about the MYlaps account. Whatever that actually provides i don't know.

As far as I am aware you are supposed to use a hard wired transponder

As far as I am aware you can use either hard wired or rechargable its up to you.
but the hard wired one is more reliable.
Because you have to turn the rechargable one on/off every time
its your fault if its not turned on.

Either will do. Most use the hard wired. the 750mc rent out the rechargeable type and a number of people are using karting ones.

these are getting crazy expensive !!
you can use the 160 - yellow re chargeable ones (mostly found on karts) but they are fine on cars too, and generally can be had quite a bit cheaper
