Bubbling Paint

Just trying to repaint the cycle wings on my Locost. I rubbed down the metal holders and primed them. I noticed they had bubbled in some places so I rubbed them down again and primed them again. Still they bubble in certain places. I'm using an acrylic primer and cans of paint mixed by my local accessory shop. What am I doing wrong?

Wing stays?

I've had this reaction when using cellulose over acrylic. These two paint types don't go well together. Make sure the two paints you have are compatible.

I would return to bare metal as much as practically possible and start with acid etched primer. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along as I'm not 100%.
